about
Hi! My name is Jordan Uyeki and I am a young professional currently living in Los Angeles, CA. I have always been an inquisitive individual with an inclination towards STEM and figuring out how things work. I earned my Bachelors in Computational Biology with a minor in Statistics from UCLA - go Bruins! 🐻💙💛 Through my involvement with the Statistics community at UCLA, I was introduced to the field of Data Science and was inspired to pursue my Masters in Data Science at the University of San Francisco - go Dons! 💚💛
No matter the industry, each data science problem is like a puzzle; I love the unique challenges that arise with each one. To me, data science encompasses the ideal blend of computational expertise and creative freedom to take data from its rawest form and transform it into a compelling narrative. I am super excited for the future and to see where I can go in this field! 🌟
When not working towards my professional endeavors, you can often find me traveling with friends/family, hanging out with my dog, Bolt, and crafting! I love all types of crafty projects but over the years, crochet has stuck. So much so that I have turned it into a little passion project, madebyjordann! I absolutely love sharing my passion with the world through running my instagram, selling on etsy, and participating in local craft shows.
